The AHRNet Secretariat is the coordinating body for the nine Network Environments for Aboriginal Health Research (NEAHR) centres located across Canada.  These Centres are funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Institute of Aboriginal Peoples Health (IAPH). The Institute of Aboriginal Peoples’ Health (IAPH) was established in June 2000, along with the twelve other Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Its role is to lead a national advanced research agenda in the area of Aboriginal health and promote innovative research that will serve to improve the health of Aboriginal people in Canada.

AHRNetS is pleased to launch a collection of videos developed from the 11th Annual National Gathering of Graduate Students and the 1st Annual Aboriginal Health Research Networks Conference, hosted in June 2011 by the Indigenous People’s Health Research Centre!

The purpose of the video collection is to provide an overview of the Aboriginal Health Research Networks and the Network Environments for Aboriginal Health Research. There are 10 videos in total one Overview video and 9 NEAHR videos. Each NEAHR video highlights the successes of Aboriginal Health Research graduate students funded by the NEAHRs.
